A close-up of a precision-calibrated velocity-based training device attached to the end of a brushed-steel barbell sleeve resting on a textured black rubber gym floor. The device’s small digital screen shows clean, minimal readouts, its casing a matte charcoal with subtle metallic accents. In the background, slightly out of focus, are neatly aligned plyometric boxes and a wall-mounted whiteboard filled with blurred performance graphs. Cool, evenly distributed overhead lighting creates soft highlights along the metal surfaces and light shadows beneath the equipment. The atmosphere is technical and high-performance, emphasizing objective measurement. Shot at barbell height with a tight, horizontal composition and shallow depth of field, the image feels clinical yet powerful, in photographic realism with a modern, performance-lab aesthetic.

Personal Trainer in Austin TX | Strength, Nutrition & Performance Coaching

I’m Michelle Barbot , a performance-driven personal trainer and nutrition coach in Austin, TX dedicated to building athletes and professionals who are strong, resilient, and metabolically healthy.

My approach combines Power Five intensity with science-backed longevity , because real performance isn’t just explosive, it’s sustainable.

I work with clients throughout Mueller, North Austin, South Austin, and through structured virtual coaching programs.

From Athlete to Performance Coach

My journey into performance coaching began on the soccer and softball fields. Competition was my identity , until a retinal detachment forced me to step away from the game.

That moment reshaped my path.

At the University of Nebraska, I transitioned from the field to the lab, where I discovered a deeper passion: the science behind performance, recovery, and nutrition.

I realized something critical: Many people train hard. Very few know how to fuel for longevity. That insight shaped everything that followed.

Power Five Roots. Metabolic Foundation.

My background is rooted in the high-stakes weight rooms of Nebraska and TCU, where performance standards are uncompromising.

In those environments, I witnessed firsthand:

  • Elite strength without metabolic health leads to burnout
  • Explosive athletes without nutritional structure plateau quickly
  • Recovery determines longevity

That experience shaped my philosophy as a strength and conditioning coach in Austin TX.

Today, I bridge the gap between elite athletic intensity and sustainable metabolic health.

My Performance Philosophy

Performance is not just about lifting heavier or moving faster.

It’s about building:

  • Strong joints and resilient connective tissue
  • Efficient metabolism
  • Sustainable body composition
  • Strategic recovery
  • Structured nutrition habits

As a nutrition graduate and Pre-PA student, I approach coaching with a clinical lens.

This isn’t random programming.
It’s intentional, data-driven, and individualized.

Who I Work With

I coach:

  • Busy professionals in Austin seeking structured personal training
  • Former athletes wanting their competitive edge back
  • Individuals focused on weight loss and muscle building
  • Clients recovering from injury
  • Performance-driven individuals prioritizing long-term health

Whether you’re looking for a personal trainer in Mueller Austin, a nutrition coach in North Austin, or a structured virtual fitness program, my coaching adapts to your goals and lifestyle.

A sleek, minimalist nutrition planning workstation featuring a large matte-black tablet displaying a detailed performance nutrition dashboard beside a stainless-steel shaker bottle, a small digital food scale, and neatly stacked transparent meal prep containers with unlabeled contents. Everything rests on a smooth, light oak desk with clean edges, set against a neutral, softly textured taupe wall. Cool, indirect daylight enters from an unseen window, creating controlled reflections on the tablet screen and subtle shadows along the desk’s grain. The mood is analytical and strategic, emphasizing data-driven preparation. Captured from a slightly elevated angle with shallow depth of field, the main objects are in crisp focus while the background gently blurs. Photographic realism with a structured, corporate aesthetic and balanced, uncluttered composition.

Why Clients Choose Michelle Barbot Performance

Clients don’t just want workouts. They want:

 ✓ Clear structure
✓ Expert guidance
✓ Sustainable results
✓ Accountability
✓ Longevity

By integrating strength, nutrition, and metabolic health, I help clients build performance that lasts , not just quick transformations.
